Who can apply?
- Non-profit organisations
- National Youth Councils
- Public bodies established in a Programme Country can apply on behalf of all organisations involved in the project. Project should involve minimum 3 participating organisations from 3 different countries, of which at least one is a Programme Country and one is an eligible Partner Country.
Exception: For Western Balkans Youth Window projects, the applicant must be established in a Western Balkan country.

What are the eligible activities?
The following activities can be implemented within a Capacity Building project:
Capacity Building activities:
- activities encouraging policy dialogue, cooperation, networking and exchanges of practices in the field of youth, such as conferences, workshops and meetings
- large-scale youth events
- information and awareness campaigns
- development of information, communication and media tools
- development of youth work methods, tools and materials, as well as youth work curricula, training modules and documentation instruments such as Youthpass
- creation of new forms of delivering youth work and providing training and support
Mobility activities:
- youth exchanges between Programme and eligible Partner countries
- European Voluntary Service from/to eligible Partner countries
- Mobility of youth workers between Programme and eligible Partner countries
How long does a project take?
It must take from 9 months to 2 years.

The Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency located in Brussels receives the applications. Please check the dates of upcoming deadlines for Erasmus+ application. How much funding can a project get?
Maximum grant awarded for a Capacity Building Project is 150.000 Euro. You may refer to the official Erasmus+ Guide for detailed information on funding rules applied to this action and estimating what percentage of the costs related to your project can be covered under this funding.
